“ The food is delicious and well tasty. I came here after church and had brunch with my friend. I highly recommend this place for the delicious food especially, the Malaysian Curry Chicken or Shrimp and the Hibiscus Lemonade. ”
“ Solid lunch spot. Came here on a weekday for lunch with a couple friends. The place wasn't too busy and we were able to seat ourselves at a table right away. I ordered the Malaysian Curry Chicken, which I thought was pretty good. My friend who is a regular here really likes their Fried Chicken Sandwich. Glad I got to try this place! ”
“ 5 stars alone for the shroom burger! Had the curry chicken with awesome rotis! Service is excellent with super affordable prices. Would be 5 but the espresso machine was broken and the drip coffee was just ok. They dress it for you and also there are no free refills. There was supposed to be a craft beer/wine selection and there was none of that. Cash only. ”
“ Great place for brunch in the outskirts of busy 8th Avenue. This place has a nice fusion of Asian inspired dishes along with your traditional American plates. The star of the show is definitely the Malaysian curry. The Roti Canai is a great dipper for the thick sauce. I also used my home fries to soak up every bite of the sauce. I also enjoy the toasted sesame latte a lot, it was a nice hot drink packed with flavor in every sip. My husband enjoyed the French toasted and the runny Eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce. The staff are friendly and the seating is comfy. The decor is very pretty as well. ”
“ Parlay has been in my bookmarks for a long time and I finally got to come today! It's a cute cafe and it has a calming and nice ambiance to it where i can just relax I came with my husband and we enjoyed it alot! The roti for the malaysian curry was super crispy but not burnt and the curry itself was delicious with pieces of potatoes and chicken inside. The burger was only okay for me since it didn't have special ingredients and the patty was a bit too well done for my taste, but that's just me - it could be perfect for someone else and it's still a good burger but i wouldn't say it was special. The staff was very friendly and I believe it's a mother daughter owned cafe and that's what i love to see rather than more chains around us. I would recommend for a date tbh! ”
“ Food delicious, although we waited a long time for coffees ( food was already half eaten by the time they came out ) everything was delicious and the man in charge gave us a fruit salad on the house. He forgot our pancake order ( to share for the table) but honestly we weren't in a rush and he was so sweet and the food tasted so good I didn't care. ”
“ I came here on a Sunday for brunch with my friends. We ordered the malaysian curry chicken, french toast, and one of the omelettes. I was a bit disappointed that the curry chicken was basically the only Asian dish on the menu, but it was definitely the best dish we ordered. The curry chicken was very tender and flavorful, and the roti was crispy and buttery. The french toast and omelette were lacking in flavor (even not enough salt) and we ended up dipping everything in the curry to salvage it. If I came here with a group again, I'd probably just get multiple orders of the curry chicken. ”
